I've been slaving away, this my last semester of college, in the darkroom working on a new series for my final semester of advanced photography! once this body of work is done i will have fullfilled the requirements for my BA degree in Communications, and my minor in Fine Arts, Photography. So...with that being said, Check back with me often to see if any of the new series is up. I haven't titled it yet, but i can tell you that it is highly contrasted botanical materials that were taken in a makeshift studio in my house. lighting is key with these photos, and they are all hand printed, hence the time its taking. its kind of a contrast from

Art is subjectively objective. Each of my photos has meaning to me, but take what you will from them. They are nothing but an extension of the way I see my world. As of right now I only take black and white pictures for printing. People are what interest me. Not landscapes or nature, although beautiful it doesn't capture emotion for me. More on the human condition to come....

Last night my camera (an Olympus OM) was stolen out of my car. I can't help but blame myself for so carelessly leaving it there, knowing I do not live in the best neighborhood. But whoever they are took it, and the flash that I just recently bought to start exploring flash with my photography. I only got one opportunity to use it. But with the end of one thing is the beginning of something new. I am now the proud owner of a Canon Rebel OES SLR, and that will be my primary camera from now on. I'm sad to see the old one go, but look forward to getting used to a new, and much nicer camera. I guess all I have now are the memories....er..shoul

I'm really excited to see what you've done with plants. Plants intrigue me very much. They are very complex things and can make great subjects.

im not so sure. all I know is that he is the singer for the band the phenomenauts, so 1st or 2nd? who knows...??? the band is incredibly entertaining to watch however.
